ACI marina Vrboska

Slika
About Marina Although it is the smallest town on the island of  Hvar , the beauty of Vrboska easily surpasses that of all the others, primarily due to its  geographical location. It is situated on the northern coast of the central part of the island, deep in a bay at the end of a narrow, meandering inlet. In the middle of the bay there is an island and numerous small bridges span the channel, earning Vrboska the nickname of “Little Venice”.  Roman ruins indicate that the town has been inhabited since antiquity, but the oldest preserved monuments and buildings date back to the 15th century. Impressive old houses in Gothic, Neo-Renaissance and Baroque styles, as well as Mediterranean architecture with characteristic stone buildings and narrow streets, predominate in the town. This idyllic picture is complemented by the thick pine forest hugging the town on the landward side, and beautiful beaches and coves on the seaward side. A rich tradition of fishing is evident in...

About Marina ACI Marina Skradin  is one of the most beautiful ACI marinas. Situated in central Adriatic, at the mouth of the river Krka, it is open all year round and is a special favourite with owners of wooden boats who like to overwinter here due to the site’s rare combination of salt and fresh water. The marina and the miniature town of  Skradin  make up a single, harmonious unit. Skradin has an exceptionally rich past and it can boast of having had the status of town for over 23 centuries. The pleasant atmosphere and a vast array of facilities and services are the main reasons why many boaters come here, looking forward to admiring the sunset whilst savouring the exceptional food and top-quality Dalmatian wines. ACI marina Vodice

Slika
About Marina The town of  Vodice  (“waters”) owes its name to the wells which never run dry, not even during the hottest days of summer. The locals traded water to islanders until the 19th century, as testified by the two wells which still stand in the town square. Since the independence of Croatia Vodice has become a very important tourist centre, whose range of tourist services was significantly improved with the construction of ACI’s marina. The town is surrounded by the sea, islands and a river, and there are two national parks – Krka and Kornati – in close proximity. Vibrant and noisy during the day and magical at sunset, in the summer months Vodice is alive day and night. Its continuous development of tourist facilites has turned Vodice into the leading resort on the Šibenik Riviera, welcoming 40,000 visitors during the summer months. Unsurprisingly,  ACI Marina Vodice  is one of the favourite spots for boaters looking for activity holidays, entertainment...
